Born and raised in California, Jacquelyn attended UC Berkeley where she studied Fine Art, followed by a Masters Degree in Copywriting. She pursued a career of writing in many different forms throughout her career, however Jacquelyn always held the dream of writing children’s books.

Jacquelyn currently lives in the Provence region of southern France with her husband and four children. The beauty and nature of the Provence woodlands are a continued inspiration for her tales, as are her four young children.
