Bonjour!

Bienvenue and thank you for being a part of this process with me! This is my second children’s book, and it involves two topics I am very excited about - Halloween and sharing!

This book is originally inspired by my own kids’ struggles. So often I have noticed that my children have a hard time sharing even when they have more than enough. It has taught me that sharing, for children, is often about more than just giving others what you are not using. There is a sense of security around having the item being shared. Watching my kids also made me reflect on how sharing is hard, universally; and it is something all kids (and even adults) have to deal with. I wanted to try and help kids navigate the act of sharing, but in a way that feels safe and positive for them. And to see all of the good that can come out of it, like gaining trust and building relationships.

Below is my read-aloud, plus a button that will take you directly to Amazon’s review page for “Odette Owl and the Curious Halloween Costume: Learning to Share”. I would be so grateful if, after you read my book, you took a minute to follow the link and tell me what you thought of it.

Thank you again for your support. It means so very much!
